I know it’s been quite a while since I last posted a blog, but I have some new and exciting news which I collected during that time. There are a few wonderful books coming out which I will share with you now.
SAIL by James Patterson- This book is about a family that goes on vacation. But then the vacation goes terribly wrong when the family meets a murderer. Releases June 9, 2008.
Maybe later I’ll look up the other book I have for you, but I can’t remember if right now. So let me tell you about the books that I am reading.
TALES FROM THE ODYSSEY series by Mary Pope Osborne- The six books in this series for young readers retell the adventures and tragedys of the Greek hero Odysseus.
MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN, ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN, FRIGHTFUL’S MOUNTAIN by Jean Craighead George- Those three books tell about Sam Gribley, a boy who ran away from New York to live in the Catskill Mountains. The books also tell about his trained falcon, Frightful, who lives with Sam in a burned out tree on one side of a mountain.
So now you know the books that I’m reading. I think that as soon as I get finished writing this, I’ll most likely clean up my floor, and then settle down either on my bed or on my chair here and read another Odyssey book, maybe #3: Sirens and Sea Monsters. I’ll try to think of the second exciting adventure that comes out in June. But if I don’t, here are some great websites which you can go to to find information on your favorite author(s) and books.
