Today is the observance of Columbus Day! We look at this holiday in a special way because it marks the day in 1492 that the explorer Christopher Columbus landed in North America, and mistook the Native Americans for Indians, because he believed he landed in India.
There are some great books out this month. Have you ever heard of the Mostly Ghostly series by R. L. Stine? I have all of the book in that series. In fact, the first one, Who Let the Ghosts Out?, was made into a movie. It was just shown on Disney Channel a few nights ago for Wiz-tober. You show find that movie and watch it. I think it’s pretty good. I hope life is good and well. Oh, and be sure to think about your choice for President of the United States carefully, if you’re old enough to vote. Be sure to vote on November 4, 2008. So I’ll see you hopefully on November 5, 2008, to tell you all about the Presidential election. Thanks, and see you soon.
